Engr: Abdul Hakeem Malik, born in Muzaffargarh, South Punjab, in 1945, is a distinguished scholar and researcher with a diverse academic and professional background. He is a qualified engineer registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers. Additionally, he holds a Master's Degree and Law Graduation from the University of the Punjab. He is also a lifelong licensed member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association and the Punjab Bar Council.
During the 1970s, he had an opportunity to serve in Facilities Engineering wing under Ministry of Defence and Civil Aviation KSA. During his stay in the sacred land of Harmain Sharifain, he dedicated himself to the study of the Holy Qur'an and immersed himself in its divine wisdom, understanding and reflecting upon the profound wisdom contained within the Holy Quran, nurturing a commitment to both faith and knowledge that subsequently inspired him to establish "Islamic Research Foundation Global".
In 2008, Abdul Hakeem embarked on a new chapter of his life by migrating to Canada, where he now resides in the vibrant city of Vancouver, British Columbia.
As a researcher and devout Muslim, he is a seasoned traveler, who has visited numerous countries, including the USA, UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Saudi Arabia & UAE.
He is an accomplished author and compiler, with several notable publications reflecting his deep spiritual insight and sincerity. His work, QURANIC PRISM, offers a comprehensive and accessible trilingual subject index of the Holy Qur'an and has received widespread recognition globally. His achievements include "Atlas - Noble Life of Great Prophet Muhammad (SAAS)" which provides a concise, authentic account of the Prophet's life, and "Atlas - Narratives of the Holy Prophets, illustrating the lives of prophets from Adam (pbuh) to Jesus (pbuh)". His latest research, "Quranic Reflections in Iqbal's Poetry", has also garnered significant appreciation across diverse communities.
Abdul Hakeem Malik is frequently invited to deliver lectures at educational institutions, government bodies, public forums, ethnic and welfare organizations, as well as media outlets both domestically and abroad.
Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of the Islamic Research Foundation Global, a non-governmental organization committed to educational and social welfare initiatives.
At the age of 80, he continues to pursue his scholarly endeavors with passion, working on upcoming research projects. All his works are presented trilingually—Arabic, English, and Urdu—to ensure accessibility for those unfamiliar with Arabic and to serve Muslim communities worldwide under Western influence.
The excellence of his research works since published has proved free from juristic bigotry and sectarian prejudice as all his books have been appraised by all schools of thought by Muslim and Non-Muslim scholars.
